North Conway, NH – The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting on March 9, marking the opening of the new MaineHealth Urgent Care clinic. The event was attended by Chamber staff, Memorial Hospice President Tricia Costigan and clinical personnel.

MaineHealth, the system of nine hospitals and other health-care facilities that includes Memorial Hospital in North Conway, decided to add the urgent care clinic to fill what they saw as a gap between routine primary care and a visit to the emergency room.

Its location at 1976 White Mountain Highway (Route 16) in North Conway, right next to Sea Dog Brewing Co., makes it convenient to much of the tourist and business traffic in the town.

The clinic has four exam rooms and an X-ray room. In addition, there is a waiting room, check-in area and a place where the provider sits with the clinical team. The urgent care clinic is open to all ages. Patients do not need to be affiliated with a MaineHealth facility.
